Hey there. So I have a 92 250. Sometime in the near future I want to upgrade the a arms and shocks. I know there are plenty of shock options out there for 250s, so the real question is the a arms.. Burgard takes forever from what I hear and they don't even have a site anymore.. I see lots of people using z400 arms, direct bolt on I think. But then the problem with calipers, spindles and such.. So what if a guy just uses the entire z400 a arm spindle, hub, and brake setup? Will it work? Seems like everything yall are doing works but I don't really want to be mixing matching a bunch of peices together just to get extended front end.. Makes sense to me to use lets say full flight +2 arms, z400 spindles, hubs and brake setups. Let me know if anyone has done this.
I have and i dont recommend it the upper ball joint is maxed out, 03 and 04 ltz400 a arms won't work 05 06 07 08 will work but they have to be camber adjustable. i hear mixed things about full flight, a lot of people say to stay away from them. you might be better off finding lt specific a arms. if you switch hubs you will need new rims too.
Not to many options out there for is lt guys is there.
will lt500 a arms fit on the 250??
Nothing much fits unless its specifically for the Lt. They use an equal length arm. If you going to buy something spend the money and have metal tech build a set of arms to work with new spindles from a newer machine. There's lots of shitty setups guys cob together, and its really a wast of time and money once you've ridden a correctly built and set up front end.
Looking forward to riding a correctly set-up front end myself!!
I do see a bunch of stuff people "make" work, and if it works for them that's great but I don't really want to do that. Like u said ice racer I would rather have it done the right way.
