What year of 250 do you have? you should not need them for cut fronts, and usually the rear supports are on the grab bar if I am not mistaken. However my 86 does not have any supports, I havent seen any problem from running it without them, my bike even has the original rear fenders on it and there are no signs of cracking.

Unneeded for race cut fronts. And not really needed for the rear either. I bought some from a buddy and turns out I didn't need them. Just stick you a piece of hose in the end of the grab bar tube that they bolt to so the grab bar don't eat through the plastics.
