Hybrid question
« on: January 28, 2013, 02:39:20 pm »
If one was to convert a 87+ lt250 into a 250/500 hybrid, after the frame mods are done for the 500 engine, can you put a 250 back in the frame with no welding?  Thx

I would say the lower motor mount would need some bigger spacers.

Thanks. I'm assuming that this is if you do not move the swingarm pivot location.

Thanks guys.

one thing that everyone forgets to say is with a q pipe it comes very close to the front a arms
i think if you compress the front suspension it will hit the a arms, thats why most guys go +1 foward

If I go forward with this I had planned to run a trx or yfz front end.

No need to move the pivot for the swap. I used the 250 swinger bolt.
