I'm new to the site. Though I've read most of the forums here and got some very helpful information for my 88 lt250r. I'm in the process of restoring my quad. The one thing I am having trouble finding is a good set of aftermarket A arms for the lt250r. I've been emailing and calling all the best manufacturers to see if I can get a good set made for decent money. Lonestar said they could make a set, but for $1500. That is way out of my price range. I contacted Dave from Jd performance. I guess he was the fabricator/ welder for Laeger racing. He I was blown away at the build quality of his a arms for the 450rs. I asked him if he could make me a set for my Lt250r. He makes a maximum ground clearance set of a arms that is perfect for trail riding to give you that extra bend to prevent hitting a rock or obstacle. He told me he is considering making them for the lt250r if he gets enough people interested in them. I think he charges $599 for extended arms and $679 for mgc arms. Check out his site and see for yourself at the quality of his products. Email him or call him if your interested. Hopefully enough of you guys are thinking what I'm thinking.
By the way, the a arms I asked him to make would be +2 . He also said he was considering making them for the lt500r quadzilla.
What all do you get? Are they raw?

Standard Shock MGC
$699
Long Shock MGC Arms
$799
These are custom built, plan on about 3 weeks lead time.
MGC arms do not change the ride height of you your quad. The quad will sit the same as regular arms. All shock mount positions are the same as the non MGC arms. The difference between MGC and non MGC is the bends in the arms (They allow for clearance of obstacles for the arms).
That is awesome.... i'll send him a note as well. I'm in for a MGC A-Arms and shock.
Awesome. Hopefully some more guys here do the same. I feel like we got a good rare opportunity with a well known skilled fabricator to make us a great set of a arms. I am trying to convince him to make me an extended swinger too. His swingarms are some of the nicest I've seen.

Just wanted to update this post. I spoke with owner of Jd performance yesterday to see if they were getting enough interest from everyone here about these +2 a arms. I was told that they will be making the a arms this summer and they should be available this fall. Figured I'd throw that out there in case you are on the fence about buying some soon.
Tyler Renner at Metaltech products has been making custom A-arms for all 250 and 500's for several years and has sold many sets on here. They are excellant quailty and I think are around $460 raw. He also makes extended swingarms. Here's his site, they aren't listed on there but he makes them. Just give him a call and have a set on your door step in a couple weeks.
