Here's a text I sent to the blm thru the glamis ranger station website. Kinda more of the same commiefornia bullshiet we deal with on a daily basis

Comment: When I went to glamis last weekend I needed to get a pass. Figuring I could get one in the wash past the glamis store again I drove there after stopping by the ranger station right after the canal. The one place wasn't there, so I went to the store where I was directed back to the ranger station. Sure enough they did sell them... Why wouldn't the station have a SIMPLE sign outside letting the public know that the passes could be purchased inside? Then about the price it was $40 back at the place in the wash after the store, then I go inside and it's $50!!! The charge may not be that much more but it should be the same price everywhere. I felt like I was being ripped off by another California instituted
Rip off center. Why isn't there a kiosk available to purchase the passes, instead of paying people to sit around in the station doing basically nothing as I could tell when I walked inside? A kiosk would be a much better way to serve the public at large. Quit building such a rediculous fiefdom where all we do is pay pay pay thru the nose. Trim back the bs.

Obviously EVERY government anything is ran inefficiently because their biggest goal is to do nothing and get paid for it.  The problem is that the people who are holding the checkbook are the ones that make the rules.  We're just the people funding the account and have only the illusion of having a say.

We don't make the rules we just pay for them.

As far as I'm concerned just about every government entity needs to be de-funded.  It's the only way to stop them, take away the money.  Iif you cut the budget or "trim them back" they'll just find other ways to bring in revenue and ways to justify their ever increasing budgets & expenditures, usually through increased legislation or enforcement of existing legislation.

Take away the money, you run the utter dry and the piglets will go away.
